Several levels of clouds on the southern flank of the principal mountain chain of the Himalayas (Nepal) seen from Poon Hill near Ghorepani. The mountains reflecting the morning light belong to the Annapurna Himal (right) and the Dhaulagiri Himal (in the background). The peak to the right is Nilgiri South (5670 m).

UXMAL: The very first archeological site of Maya pyramides I visited on the Yucatán Peninsula was Uxmal of the architectonical Puuc-Syle typical for the region south of Mérida. And it granted me with such a magic view of the evening mood... To the right there is the Governors Palace, in the centre the Pyramid of the Magician and to the left the ball court and the so-called "Nunnery Quadrangle". Uxmal was and still is the most beautiful of Maya sites I have visited...
